This is a powerful yet elegant wine. Bags of dark berry fruit, fine tannins provide stature. The longer period in oak imbues stronger secondary flavours of leather & pencil shavings; even butterscotch and spring garrigue. A Grande wine of pure class that’s aged 15 months in barrels on fine lees, followed by 4-months in bottle. Decant for an hour, at least. ABV: 13%.
